2.7: /dev/cd0a: Device not configured

I'm unable to mount a CDROM (the oBSD 2.7 install disks) on my 2.7
GENERIC box. I *was* previously able to do this (both at system install
time, and since).

Clues appreciated.

Attempts to do so result in:

    [root@jung:/root]$ mount -r -t cd9660 /dev/cd0a /mnt/cdrom
    mount_cd9660: /dev/cd0a on /mnt/cdrom: Device not configured
