Are you thinking of "netstat -an" to show all active connections? Maybe.
Either way, I'd already checked that... good suggestion, though.

Good point. In fact, I'd be pretty willing to bet that that is the
kicker. My ISP does appear to be doing some proxying and firewalling and
what not. Thanks for the tip, I hadn't thought of that.
