ICP Vortex

hi,
    anyone using ICP Vortex and familiar with it? Reason being is that
although i have set for RAID5 and according to the bios it sees the
array as one giant hardrive when i boot to a kernel to build the
partitions
and so on over the wire.. It does not appear to see the array or hard
drives
although the ICP Bios tool does see the physical hard drives..
any ideas? TIA
