I experience soft updates crashes quite regularly when creating
largish directory trees (i.e. extracting tar archives) or removing
them. However, damage so far has been pretty much limited to the
respective directory tree. It hasn't killed a filesystem yet, and
I don't expect it to.
Anyway, neither of this qualifies as "minor".
