ftp and netscape

All:

I typed ftp://ftp.openbsdpost.net (this is my ftp
server behind a linksys router/firewall/hub) with
netscape 4.6.communicator....OpenBSD 2.6 port.
Netscape returns an error saying no / found.

Lynx on the same box behind the firewall did just fine
and displayed my welcome message and all.  Also ftp
from shell works both on the box behind the firewall
and outside from another location.  Microsoft Internet
Explorer works great outside from another location as
well.  All I have is an empty /pub folder and a
.message in the ftp directory.  Can someone try to
reach it with netscape? 


-I run OpenBSD 2.8
-My inetd is running and /etc/inet.conf is set to
default (minus the #) 
-linksys firewall/router/hub (using the linksys
browser configuration program I have ports 23 and 80
open and filtered down to my ftp/http server)
