apache,php,mysql

All:
I am running OpenBSD 2.8.  From what I can tell by default apache is installed.  I've never
compiled php with apache b4 but I want to try.  In the php manual there are instructions and ithey
seem to be pretty good from what I've read.  But my question is:

If apache is installed already.  How do I get rid of it to compile it with php?

any help may help.
