I'd suggest using ppp's nat (``nat enable yes'' in your config or 
-nat on the command line) rather than ipnat - it's far simpler for 
ppp setups.

I'd also suggest you make sure you've got the latest version of ppp - 
one with the tcpmssfixup option.  You can get it via 
http://www.Awfulhak.org/ppp.html
