Hi, all. The only references I've been able to find about "watchdog"
anything all pertain to the watchdog system monitoring cards, which I
don't have. But for some reason I keep getting this error on a box I'm
setting up:
"Feb 1 10:22:52 firewall /bsd: rl0: watchdog timeout"
This box has two network cards, rl0 and rl1, both D-Link cheapies.
(model is DFE-530 TX+)
rl1 works fine. rl0 doesn't. Both are connected to networks, link
light happy, etc.
I might have a bum network card, it's possible, but I don't know if
that's what this error is telling me.
Should my first course of action be to swap out the card, or are there
places I can look for more information first?
Thanks,
-m
