Re: /tmp full, unable to cleart
Hi,
This can happen when the process that was creating the file still
has the file open. The file is deleted from the directory entry,
but the disk space won't be freed up until the last process that
has the file open closes it.
Did you by any chance see which user/application had created the
file before you deleted it?
If so, just look at their processes and/or kill selective ones,or
all of them.
