Right.  They feel like professional-quality stuff that you might
actually want to use on a server in a machineroom.

Not that I know of.  This is certainly a flaw in in the system.  I
don't know what it would take to get that capability.  I think that
there is an audible alarm when they fail, so anyone near it would
notice, but obviously, it would be much better for the computer to
send a page, for instance.
