I have a Mac client which I find to be high-quality and versatile:
OpenSSH v2.9. Apple's new operating system, MacOS X, is *nix with an
Apple UI ("Darwin" -- the "core" -- is a BSD variant which is planned to
track FreeBSD, and presently derives from NeXT; it has some oddities
like a Mach-type pseudo-microkernel and a bunch of directories with
names like "Users" and "System" -- complete with caps! wierd for
*nix ... lots of things in wierd places). (older Mac OS versions can
use MacSSH located at
http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=8913 -- this one is a
GNU-licensed no-fee telnet client with SSH protocol 2 support).
Usually, I drive the OpenBSD box on my network from the Mac. I am
interested in setting it up as a network storage and printserver.
Enjoy!
