after I have added the:

	ServerName pref.dyndns.org 

to the /var/www/conf/httpd.conf the problem 
was gone and the httpd starts fine now.
Which is a bit scary, because I was expecting,
that Apache source was audited against the
buffer overflows and "underflows".
