 I'm running 2.8 from the cd, sorry. I tried 1500 MTU and disabling
discovery, no effect. Ideas? I'm grasping at straws now.

Yes this TA works fine in windows. I set up the SPIDs, etc with an
autoconfig
windows program. The software was clunky, but it worked. I'm pretty sure it
can be set up manually with AT commands - that's what I'm researching now.
Anything in particular I should be looking for?

Its a 3Com ISDN Pro TA, model no. 3CP3468A.
