Hi,
I have a Netgear FA510c here:
| dc0 at cardbus0 dev 0 function 0 irq 11 address 00:10:7a:60:f7:1a
| dcphy0 at dc0 phy 31: internal PHY
ifconfig says:
| dc0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
| media: Ethernet none (100baseTX)
| status: no carrier
| inet 192.168.1.62 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
| inet6 fe80::210:7aff:fe60:f71a%dc0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x11
doesn't matter wether I use 10baseT or 100baseTX as a media-type
(same with full-duplex, half-duplex) I always get the 'status: no
carrier'.
| dc0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
| media: Ethernet 100baseTX full-duplex
| status: no carrier
The other side of the cable is attached to a Netgear 10/100 switch.
The cable to the switch (and the port at the switch) are fine, since
they work with other NIC's.
The GENERIC-kernel/userland used is from 2.9-release.
any hints?
