Hi,
I have a problem running x on my IBM 760XL thinkpad.
It worked fine in 2.8, but all I get is garbage on
the screen when attempting to reconfigure the new x.
I have looked through the man and faq and archives to
find out how to revert back to 3.3.6 on 2.9, to no
avail.
If possible, please advise me on how to change back
to 3.3.6, as it is apparently installed in 2.9, I
just don't know how to configure it to run, instead
of 4.0.3.
Thanks for any help,
Curtis.
PS. The release version of 2.9 barely worked at all,
even running without x it froze completely after
two or three minutes.
I tried a snapshot version which seems to run
a bit better, but still no x (at least with
4.0.3).
