/etc/resolv.conf doesn't stay how I edit it.

I added a line to my /etc/resolv.conf file, and it keeps disapering. 
the line is "lookup file bind".  I know I can add a line in crontab as
a workaround, but I want to solve the underlying issue.

I did a "grep -r resolv.conf /*" and only found 3 binary file matches
(/bin/eject  /bin/mt  /bin/rcp )but no regular file matches.  It stays
for  between 26 - 28 minutes.  There is nothing in cron that comes
close to it (one at "*/10 *" and one at "* 60".)  It happened between
47 and 49 after the hour.
OpenBSD 2.8 i386 with patches up to #27.
