This whole /etc/rc* thing is one of the fundamental
differences between BSD and System V. The BSD
philosophy on this is to keep it as simple as possible.
The System V philosophy is to make it a nightmare.
This difference borders on a near religous war between
these two camps. I see this as just a first step closer
to that nightmare. I am sure you can guess my side in
this war ;-).
