486 preformance question

Hi,
  I have a 486DX/33 w/ 16MB of RAM and a 3.2 GB HD.  OPenBSD 2.9 installed
fine over ftp.  My question has to do with preformance for NAT routing.  I
have four other computers sharing a Cable internet connection.  Bandwidth
runs between 1.5 to 3.5 Mbit/s.  Will the 486 handle this well or should I
get a pentium box (practically free nowadays).  I'sd be interested to hear
of anyone using a similar setup and the prerformance they get.
