I am also doing this - works fine without wscons et al. in the kernel. Only
problem I have hit is the speed can only be set up to 19200, as this is the
INT14 limit I think ? Setting 'stty com0 115200' does nothing useful :(

Also, I couldn't type anything after a couple of spaces at the boot prompt.
Anyone seen this ? Letting the thing boot, and the login: was fine.
