There's also /usr/local/share/doc/mutt/html/manual.html, very good to
learn from, and I think it covers what you need.

Also look at fetchmail/getmail, urlview and procmail for the ultimate
email experience.

It's a quite big job setting this up the first time, but I'm a happy
user of fetchmail/procmail/mutt for years.

BTW., the mutt-users mailing list is quite friendly, I recommend it.
