Yes would have to agree that a gui is provided most likely for this in winblows.
( when and how is the means to do this without the gui? See the point?)
However the beauty of any Nix or dirivative is that you can roll you own gui
with you own logic / or others to do exactly the same thing. It is just gui
programming which is as doable in Nix .. actually more doable however since
am not a gui programmer per se can't describe all you options. They are however
extremely huge.

i don't use these myself but there are lots of admin programs like webmin and
i am sure lots others that many here can suggest..
