>the thing is I am about to move and in the new building they have a WLAN ISP but my home firewall/router is a laptop running OBSD , so i think you can see where this is headed :) i would like to continue using the old laptop and connect to the WLAN but i would like to know how to support is in OBSD and if someone has any recomendations..or hints if anyone got a WLAN card running already.
No problems. I have a Libretto running 3.0-current with a SMC2632W card
pcic0 at isa0 port 0x3e0/2 iomem 0xd0000/65536
pcic0 controller 0: <Intel 82365SL rev 1> has sockets A and B
pcmcia0 at pcic0 controller 0 socket 0
wi0 at pcmcia0 function 0 "SMC, SMC2632W, Version 01.02": irq 9
wi0: PRISM II HWB3163 rev.A, Firmware 0.7 variant 6, address
00:e0:29:91:a1:de
pcmcia1 at pcic0 controller 0 socket 1
pcic0: irq 11, polling enabled
