Re: Sparc20 booting question

no console magic of that sort-

Have you tried going over your routing tables, ethernet drivers
and hostname files? If you want help with those then you'll need
to send the needed files to the list....

Subject: Sparc20 booting question

I've recently loaded OpenBSD 3.0 on an SparcStation 20.
I used the serial console to boot and install from the
floppy image and then the install using a ftp server.

The machine seems fine, when ever it now reboots,
when the serial console is connected.

However, each time I try to disconnect the serial
console to put the machine in service, I can't
ping/connect to its assigned IP address.

Is there some magic regarding a condition that
necessitates having a console attached in order to
operate?
