Re: bloody ftpd connection again



I've seen that happen on my machine too (stock FTP,
3.0 Generic, as default an install as you can get). 
If I then hop onto the console of the Open FTP box and
type a netstat -a it hangs for about 1-2 minutes and
then starts again.  Weird.  I've been meaning to see
if starting it as a daemon instead of from inetd would
help but since this is only a personal mp3/dirty
pics/ISO images server for me and a few friends it
hasn't been worth my time yet.
