Re: Wireless PCI or PCI converted cards in obsd?



I have just popped a DWL-500/DWL-650 into a 3.0 machine and it seems to work
no prob (I had to install the drivers etc. in Windows first, but the machine
is a really crappy Compaq and the BIOS never seems to register anything
properly unless done through Win first... oh well). Don't know why it shut
off the other wired NIC (le1) though.

I would like to use such a device to provide real base station service.
Apparently people do this on Linux and I haven't heard on progress on the
OpenBSD side of things.
