ntpd problems

I'm trying to get ntpd running on OpenBSD 2.8 and 3.0. My config file
looks like this:--- /etc/ntp.conf ---
server 127.127.1.0 prefer
peer ntp.lth.se
peer time1.stupi.se
peer time2.stupi.se
peer time3.stupi.se
peer tick.keso.fi
peer tock.keso.fi
peer fartein.ifi.uio.no
peer time.alcanet.no
peer clock.netcetera.dk
peer clock2.netcetera.dk
driftfile /var/db/ntp.drift
restrict default ignore
restrict 127.0.0.1 mask 255.255.255.255 notrust nomodify notrap
---

ntpd starts ok, but gives these errors in /var/log/messages. I have no
idea why, nor what they mean. Have I done anything wrong?
--- /var/log/messages ---
Feb 18 21:19:19 monitor ntpd[8259]: ntpd 4.1.71-a Thu Oct 18 07:07:15 MDT

Also, I really don't understand the difference between the keywords server
or peer. Anyways, have tried them both on my config, but the problem
remains.
