Hello *,
after reading a lot docs, faqs and list archives, I have been able to
connect my old 486 as gateway to german T-DSL using OpenBSD 3.0 with
pppoe, pf and nat.
I am using ipcheck.py for my dyndns hostname and redirecting various
services to my internal server on my private LAN.
For normal things like dns, http and smtp this is all working fine.
But there are still two problems for which I did not find a definitive
solution.
1) Incoming FTP redirecting to my server
I know this is an old issue, but I did not find any solution.
2) Checkpoint SecuRemote (using IKE) from a client in my LAN.
I can update my site, but everything else fails. Has anybody a
solution for this?
Best regards and thanks in advance,
Sven Eisenhauer
PS.: Great work OpenBSD team!
My old 486 with Linux 2.2 was only capable of 10 kbytes/s throughput on
my DSL link, the same hardware with OpenBSD manages my full bandwith of
nearly 90 kbytes/s.
