Re: strange SSH behavior



Got some problem the last three weeks. Installed 3.0 a month ago and moved
to current 4days ago. DNS lookup seems to be faulty for the internal network
because no entrys are found !!,  not even when adding the hostsname to
/etc/hosts. It uses the external DNS to authenticate the internal machines ?

I could not pin point the problem so far and i did the modifications as
suggested but it doesn't help. I find this really weird and more weirder if
others are experiencing  this to !

BTW same setup with ssh proftpd and ftp-proxy.

OpenSSH_3.0.2, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090602f
 ProFTPD Version 1.2.5rc1
