/usr/src on NFS

Would it be a bad idea to mount /usr/src from NFS? Would that be terribly
slow? As the /usr/obj would be local, I hope builds wouldn't be that
slow afterall, but maybe I'm wrong?

The reason I thought of this, is that I could have one machine with
the /usr/src shared on NFS, daily updated from NFS, and then there
is no need to redistribute the updated sources.

Please advice =)
