I just wanted to put in that I'm running openBSD 3.0, Generic + Netatalk
from the CD upgraded from 2.9 from the CD.

On an i386 P133/64.

I regularly connect from Macs and Darwin Machines.
I have never experienced any "odd" behaviour with ssh at all.
If there is a delay in connecting to the host it is because the ping is long.
That is it for me.

If all of you are having the problem with windows machines, then 
perhaps the issue lies in the differences between implementations?

But, I have had no issues with Mac or Darwin connections to my openBSD server.
