Re: FTP / Web / Mail Server

Well, gentleman-know-it-all, here is how I installed and configured the
machine:
Booting by [floppy30.fs] floppy disk, after selecting Install, using the
entire sd0 disk as a root disk, labling 256m for /, 320m for <swap>, 64m for
/tmp, 128m for /var, 512m for /usr, and the rest for /home. It asked if I
want to configure the network, and I seleceted Y (since I am going to
install over FTP)

(..snip..)
Enter system hostname:  mybox
Configure wich interface? fxp0
IP addtress: 192.168.0.100
Sympolic name: mybox
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
Media directives: [] <RET>
Enter DNS domain name: my_isp.com
Enter IP address for default route: 192.168.0.51
enter IP address for primary nameserver: 194.170.1.6
would you like to use the nameserver now? y
(..snip..)

and I installed ALL but game*, since I don't need it, nor I need to run X on
that system.

Rebooting after.. Nothing else whatsoever! Then I wanted to access the box
remotely using putty@windows2000 server, It hanged for about 2 minuts before
it allowed me to login... I was trying to login as root ofcource.. I didnt
add any account YET.

My network architecture is as followes:
[ADSL 1532Mbps line]==> CISCO 677 Router==> Nortel BayStack 450-24T Switch
                                      ||
               Windows 2000 Server Box<==||
                                      ||==> OpenBSD Box
                                     ...etc

Now Mr Change user, do you think it is misconfigured ?! dmesg output
included.
