Re: Upgrading 3.0 to -current problems



As a gentle reminder: if you're one of the majority who don't know
enough to fix a build of  -current that won't go--and I'll include
myself  in that  category--then  you should  probably  be using  a
snapshot, instead.  That's assuming, of course, that you shouldn't
really be using -stable.

That's   not  to   discourage  people   from  experimenting   with
-current! Please  do  so. Just  realize  that,  if  you  run  into
problems that you can't fix, well, that's why Theo and the gang go
to  all that  trouble  to make  the  snapshots. They're there  for
*you*,  so you  don't  have to  try  to figure  out  why foo.c  is
FUBAR or why the compiler barfs on bar.c.
