get xbase30.tgz, xfont30.tgz, xserv30.tgz and xshare30.tgz. 

then untar them as root from the / directory. Don't forget the 'p'
option to tar.

You read the INSTALL.i386 doc, did you ? You had the option to install
these sets as part of the initial install.
