Re: Merging 2 ADSL lines
>From a disaster recovery point of view, are both ADSL lines with the
same provider? If so, you may want to consider having your secondary
line transferred to another provider (if available). For example, my
last job had two T1's. There was a network outage at the telco, the
leased line failed, and then the other line couldn't kick in because it
was with the same telco company who were having switching problems (we
changed provider for the 2nd leased line after that).

Subject: Merging 2 ADSL lines
Hello everyone,
Is it possible to merge 2 adsl lines using a BSD box with 2 NIC's
installed?
and if yes, do I need any support from my ISP side?
if it is possible, will you please just give me the required ports or
lead
me to the commands that I need? if that merge will not be able to give
me
double the speed I have, I think I will not lose the connection when one
line is down.. am I right?
My network is as follows:
-1st adsl->cisco677 router->nortel switch->openbsd 3.0
-2nd adsl->cisco677 router/ |->freebsd
Thank you for your help!
