Is this like a company firewall? If so, you would be well advised
to not try it. Doing so would certainly be sufficient grounds for
immediate termination.
If it is a college or university firewall, that would certainly be
grounds to remove your computing privileges at that college or
university for the remainder of your academic career. Without
adequate access to computing privileges, that academic career
could be shortened significantly. And you could possibly be
kicked out for violating their security policies.
If it's your own personal firewall, you should read the manuals.
