i should also have pointed out that running a dynamic routing protocol on a
server with a single NIC rarely serves a useful purpose. usually there
isn't much point to running one on a firewall, either; in fact, it can
provide an alternative path to use attacking the device.
run routing protocols on boxes that are actually serving as routers.
