last time i put in old isa scsi controller, connected a tape drive,
a couple of disks. i was going to use raidframe on them. however, when
tarring $HOME to the tape drive, my box locked hardly. well, for the
second time, it worked. but when i initialized raidframe and made
raidctl -i, after completing about 10% my box locked again. so i stopped
using scsi devices for a while. the controller itself has default values
in almost all its configurable options.
is it a known issue, what could be workarounds?
thanks
