Re: Upgrading 3.0 to -current problems

Ahem.

If the host comes back up after a kernel build seemingly without network
connection, where is the best place to look for clues?

(It finds the network card):

Mar 14 13:34:32 leetah /bsd: xl0 at pci0 dev 11 function 0 "3Com 3c905 100Base-TX" rev 0x00: irq 10 address 00:60:08:6f:a9:b3
Mar 14 13:34:32 leetah /bsd: nsphy0 at xl0 phy 24: DP83840 10/100 media interface, rev. 1

Mar 14 13:34:28 leetah pflogd[21497]: Listening on pflog0, logging to /var/log/pflog, snaplen 96
Mar 14 13:34:40 leetah altqd[4112]: can't open /etc/altq.conf: No such file or directory

Mar 14 14:00:03 leetah syslogd: sendto: No route to host
Mar 14 14:00:03 leetah syslogd: sendto: No route to host

This is a machine upgraded from 2.8 to -current.

Booting with bsd.old solves the network problem.
