Compressed file systems?
Is there any kind of compressed file system in OpenBSD?
The reason I ask is that my disk isn't very big, and ports & /usr/src
are very big indeed. I'd really like to put them in a compressed
read-only file system and use the union mount to make them visible.
Files created in the ports & /usr/src tree would be created in the main
filesystem.
An alternative would be to burn them onto CD and union mount the CD, but
that seems a bit excessive.
