Broken Bridge

I have no idea wtf is going on..

Few days ago I unplugged my bridge temporarely to allow a transfer from ICQ
and when I plugged it back in( just the etherenet ) it no longer works.

I am unable to get the two interfaces to pass packets between them, I tried
shutting of my Filtered, I tried rebuilding the bridge, I've rebooted the box,
nothing is working.

I am following instrustions I have written from working examples I have built
myself, and it still won't work.

I have no idea wtf is going on....

everything seems fine, ifconfig shows the interfaces active and with carrier,
brconfig shows the interfaces as part of the bridge and discovering/learning,
yet it won't do a damn thing.

any ideas?
