I think I figured it out..

seems that on restarts it's not up'ing the interfaces...
It brings the bridge up, but not the ints, I learned this from trying to
tcpdump on ep1, told me it was down.

usually my hostname.ep1 and hostname.ep2 are blank, but I added in "up" to
them as the only line... Seems to work..

so FIY I wrote my setup down...
