RAID controllers

Hi,

I have rummaged through the misc@ archives and the consensus seems to be 
that the ICP Vortex are the best supported SCSI RAID controllers. 

It seems that ICP has been gobbled up by Intel and I am unable to find 
anyone in Australia who distributes their products. Have the ICP 
controllers no Intel branded? If so, are they still compatible?

Otherwise, can anyone suggest a well supported SCSI RAID controller which 
is available in Australia?
