For one, unix is case sensitive...  Disklabel is different than
disklabel, and the command 'disklabel -B' is not expected to do much
for you.

Kinda an interesting jump from "unable to boot" to deciding the
problem is a hard drive...

You have provided no useful info.

Considering the number of WD drives in circulation, I don't think that
is your problem.

Provide us PRECISE info about what you did, what you expected and what
actually happened.  Precise info about your hardware used (not just
your hard drive), such as a dmesg.

Also look through FAQ14, you may find the answer to your problem in
there...  14.6 and 14.7 have a fair likelyhood of covering your
problem.
