I do not think that the src tree on June 9th was a safe thing to
play with; I kept on crashing on my ThinkPad, so your problems
are very likely related to mine.

Unless you are familir with OpenBSD--really familiar--now is NOT
a good time to get a snapshot.  Changes to src are occuring
around the clock at the moment, and heaven help you if you
grab something that blows up in some mysterious odd way.

I'd either advise getting the June 8th snapshot from a mirror
somewhere, or sticking with 3.0 for the moment.
