login.conf localcipher=old aka localcipher=des?

Hello,

This seems to be implied in the man pages, but it's not explicit, and
neither the FAQ nor Google seems to help.

Is the "old" localcipher choice actually DES encryption?  (If so, it
would be nice to have that in the man page.)
