Just as a side note: As a fairly new-ish OBSD user I have to say I've become 
quite impressed with this OS over the past 2 years of dabbling (mostly using 
Linuxes in the mean time). It ain't easy to learn but man, it's worth it. I 
now find I'm transitioning from a dabbler to something more. I now have a 
working X setup, sound, and modem on a relatively new Thinkpad (2001 model). 
All in 800 MB of install. Try that with any modern Linux!

Once I figure out / remember just what I did to get things working (much of 
it at 1:00 AM), I want to make available my experiences, dmesg, config files, 
settings used etc so others can benefit. I suppose I'd like to get that info 
onto the OBSD laptop page, unless there's a better place....?

...Yeah, yeah I know I'm posting from a Linux box :o but mail is the one 
thing left to get going ....
