Yes. Here's the mode line I'm using on a 600MHz iBook. On X server
exit there's some garbage on the screen (vertical stripes), but at
least it doesn't flicker scarefully:
ModeLine "1024x768" 75.00 1024 1048 1184 1328 768 771 777 830
I don't know if the 700Mhz model still used the same mode as text mode
though.
