That's almost as bad as picking on someone because of their skin
colour or race.
Whether you post at the top, or bottom, quote all or not, should make
no difference. It's the content that counts - OR should be! I suspect
this was your issue but you didn't articulate this at all, rather just
went for the "low hanging fruit".
There's no excuse for being rude to people, whether they ask stupid
questions or not.
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all and the world
will be a much better place for it.
