This again stems from the fact that people have difficulty transferring
what is in front of their eyes to behind their eyes without loss.  _Above_
the search box there are instructions; presumably one might try reading
them first.  But I guess that's the whole point.

What you expect is not a guarentee you'll get it.  If I wanted to drive in
the UK, I'd consider investigating how before I go careening down the
right (as in unleft) side of the road.  If people applied such common
sense to computers, we'd all be better off.
