isakmpd port to linux questions
thi spost mat be of interest to developers and isakmpd compilers.
i'm trying to port isakmpd to linux with the aim of submitting patches to
bring the linux sysdeps up to date ... some questions - i'd appreciate your
comments or experience:
1. should i persevere with the patching the Makefile and using pmake on
linux, or go for GnuMakefile?
2. what does a trigraph compiler warning mean?
3. is see that BSD has strlcat and stlcpy ... can these be safely
translated backt o strncat and strncpy? ior is there some subte behaviour
difference i should be aware of?
4. linux question really - but you may know: there appear to be at least
two locations for crypto header files... the /usr/include/openssl ones and
the kernel header ones too.... any reason to prefer one over the other?
thanks
